A leading international construction company initiated a major effort to develop its quality assurance processes as an outcome of its strategy work. For various reasons this quality development initiative ran into a dead-end and was near collapse.
Two Momentus consultants were asked to advise on how to resolve the problem. An audit of the status of the quality development initiative was done, including identification of the complications. This was followed by a formulation of an approach to resolve the dilemma and also a framework for direction of the remaining work to secure success.
